TOPIC: custom fields lost after update

Using Joomla 2.5.9 | dt Register 2.8.3.

A registration form that included option fields prior to some update (not sure whether joomla or dtRegister) no longer has this functionality on the form.

The Event creation/edit panel now does not show the custom fields in the fields tab although the desired fields are listed in dtRegister's Field Management table.

I have no idea what happened, but certainly could use help.
