TOPIC: Will Not Save Events

Running Joomla 2.5.9. I had a list of events, but then updated DT Register to 2.8.5b on my site. After re-install, DT Register is showing all of the locations, payment options etc that I had in there previously but all of the events are missing.

I started the task of adding them back in and tried to create a new event - got all the way through it without issue and clicked "Saved and Close". But it is not showing up in my events - either in backend or front end. It says, "There are currently no events setup for registration".

Anybody have a clue as to what is going on?

No idea but something is definitely up.

I've just upgraded first to 2.5.8a, then again to 2.5.8b a few days later. Since these upgrades I cannot edit locations (althoguh existing events seem unaffected).

I know there's something happening now where you have to give each location an "owner" and I've tried to do that - but nothing will save upon "Save & Close"

My tickets are being answered very slowly and ever so slightly unhelpfully...

Is there anyone who knows what to do with events/locations/owners since this change?

This is so not like them - they've answered promptly in the past. I now have 4 different tickets all open dating back to Feb 13th. Anybody manning the ticket system or forum any more? Come on guys - we paid for the product, please hold up your end of the deal.
