TOPIC: Multiple categories for events

Using DT Register 2.8.4 on Joomla 2.5.8

Is it possible to configure the event belongs to two categories?
So i can create a categorie "all events" and have on the event list the possibility to show all events sorted by date.
Otherwise the events are sorted into the categorie first and inside the categorie sorted by date.

"all events"
event1
event2
event3

"category1"
event2

"category2"
event 1
event 3
