TOPIC: Who uses this for a business?

I am trying to use this extension for a business.

But to be quite frank, I am not sure I can take the risk with so many bugs and slow support who then create new bugs whilst fixing the last.

Anyone use this in a proper business?

We do, for training in two of our locations. It works great and we don't have many issues with it.

Unfortunately we do. We've been trying to use for online registration for our many programs: summer camps, before/after school program etc.

Right now we are married to it. It the process of writing our own system, but having to us DT Reg again for this upcoming summer.

To many bugs, poor support. RIght now I'm having many problems with the lastest version. We don't want to pay another $75 for another year of support for a crappy product.

We use it for 30 - 50 ongoing camps and classes with over 1000+ registrant. It does work, and provides us with the basic functionality we need. There are items I wish it had, like sort functions for ages range, camp week, etc, but all in all it does what I need.

As for support, last year I did have an open ticket that was addressed, it was a complex issue, and it was resolved in a timely manner.

I do recommend this product, with the caveat don't over engineer it, keep it simple, and let K2 or some other content manager manage the display and sorting of your camps and classes, then link to the registration system at the last moment.

On a side note, I also trained a number of users who can create new events, track registrations, and download lists, it has saved a lot of their time!
