TOPIC: paypal error in 2.8.5

there seems to be a bug for paypal payments:
when you add a partial payment through the admin and then the user logs in and goes to his event registrations, he sees the "pay now" button in the (User Panel Payments Column) - when you click on that and PayPal is used, you get the following error from paypal:

We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com .

However, when you initially go through PayPal when first registering, everything works just fine.
Can someone please check on this and provide a fix?

I am experiencing this as well, with Joomla 2.5.8 and DT Register 2.8.5
