TOPIC: Member Discount - User Groups

I saw on a post dated Sept 2012 that there were plans afoot to be able to give only certain user groups the member discount in the "discount & fees" tab.

Anyone have any idea when this will come through?

I think it was the previous owner. But still it is definitely one of the requirements that will make this product really good.

Thank you for sending that. I can see how it would be useful. Right now we are about 2 months out on our development projects that are not customization requests. If it gets bumped up sooner or pushed out I will let you know.

yes VERY useful, in fact essential.

If you allow people to register then anyone can get a member discount.
As you can't turn off registrations and have the component set up users as part of event reg.

Whereas I offer membership (and discounts) AFTER someone pays for an event.

How does one get customisations?
Previously requests for custom jobs were ignored.

The way it works is we would define specs on how the new functionality would work. After that I would provide a quote for the cost based on the number of days of work. I am happy to do that but would need to do it through our ticketing system so it easier for me to collect details. If you would like to go that route feel free to submit a ticket and select customizations as the option and we can put that together.
