I am wondering what would cause the : " You are not authorized to view this page" message to appear after a registrant cancels a registration.

The message "You have successfully cancelled your registration." is seen, but on the page below the "You are not authorized to view this page" + and email goes out to confirm the cancellation.

And when I return to the User Panel where you can cancel a registration the "x" remains allowing me to re-cancel again and again.

I must be missing some setting - Please help

Running:
Joomla 2.5.7
DT Register 2.81

I get the same thing after a user logs in and edits a registration. It might be related but I am not sure.

So again.. not sure if it is related but after a logged in user edits a registration via the user panel, when they step through the process they get to the point of hitting 'Next' at the bottom of the screen and the link is

../index.php?option=com_dtregister&controller=user&Itemid=[whateverid] and that is what invokes the "you don't have permissions to view" message. Assuming that I am doing something wrong.... but I have no special groups or group access set.

This screen occurs whether you just simply edit the details of a registration, or you choose to 'Pay Now' modifying a previously Pay Later registration. I have no doubt that this may be something outside of DT, but I am struggling to find what it is.

Ok... so I did a fresh install and set up an event. I made it to where users could log in and edit their registration. Everything worked perfectly just as expected via the user panel. When editing a registration and saving the registration, the permissions error did not show at all. I then look at the 'default' DT permissions. All I did was select 'Manage Pay Option' and 'Manage Records' option for SuperUsers. Now when a logged in user edits their registration, the permission error appears when it gets to the ../index.php?option=com_dtregister&controller=user&Itemid=[whateverid] screen. I then deselect the options that I previously selected, returning it to the original state and the error will NOT go away. I will play around some more but I think I am going to list this as a bug.

If you get anywhere with this can you post here as we have similar problem.
Have tried playing about with permissions and not sure where I'm at but all emails come through OK but the registered user still sees the cancel option in the control panel.

I don't know if our problems are related but my issue is resolved. It seems that everything works fine out of the box until you go to the permissions tab and make an edit for the first time. Some of the selections I had appeared correct but they were functioning oppositely after the first 'Save'. It took me a while, but the fix was simply to toggle off, save, and toggle back on and save. Then my issue went away.
